Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs)

Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) are vehicles that emit no tailpipe pollutants from the onboard source or energy source, or alternatively, produce no net carbon emissions when powered by renewable sources of energy. ZEVs range from electric vehicles and plugin hybrid electric vehicles to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. They are increasingly popular due to their environmental friendliness and energy efficiency. Additionally, they tend to be more affordable than their gasoline-powered counterparts. ZEVs also offer drivers a variety of advantages, such as less maintenance, a quieter ride and improved fuel economy.
