Which statement is true regarding Africa's poverty issue

It is true that poverty is a major issue in many parts of Africa. Over 400 million people in Africa live in extreme poverty, making the continent the poorest in the world. High fertility rates, poor access to education and government corruption have all contributed to this issue. Additionally, environmental issues, such as drought and deforestation, have made poverty even worse. Although there have been many attempts to alleviate poverty in Africa, progress is slow and much more needs to be done to help reduce poverty and create a brighter future for the continent.
