Three categories of salesperson:

1. Inside Salesperson: Inside salespeople focus on phone and online sales to existing customers. They work to develop relationships with the customers, assess their needs, and answer their questions. 2. Outside Salesperson: Outside salespeople are responsible for creating and closing sales opportunities with new and existing customers in various locations. They travel to visit customers, conduct sales calls and presentations, and generate new leads. 3. Retail Salesperson: Retail salespeople typically work in stores and are responsible for interfacing with customers, providing product knowledge and helping them find solutions to their needs. They also handle customer service and cashiering duties.
