The most parsimonious model using the validation data with the smallest validation error using ASE is an ensemble of 10 Decision Trees, where each tree depth is set to 8. This model is able to capture nuances in the data that would likely be missed by single tree models, due to its high representational complexity. Its low number of tree nodes is also able to help keep the model complexity low as well as limit the number of parameters in the model. This makes the model more interpretable and better suited for further exploration.
