Specialization or division of labor

Specialization of labor, also known as division of labor, is the process by which work is divided up among different people in a working environment so that each person is responsible for a specific task. Specialization of labor allows workers to focus their efforts on the particular task or skills associated with their job, thus increasing efficiency and productivity in the workplace. By dividing up tasks among different workers, the organization can take advantage of the individual talents and skills of its employees and increase the overall output of the organization.
