The human behavior I wanted to use is In the United States when we are talking to someone we expect them to make eye contact. In Taiwan when making eye contact you can not keep eye contact very long because they will take this offense and believe you are making a hostile gesture to them. My problem is i am not sure I understand what the instructor is wanting could some explain to me what to look for What are the factors that have contributed to this society's perspective of the deviant behavior?

The factors that have contributed to this society's perspective of the deviant behavior are largely cultural and rooted in their customs, beliefs, and values. In the US, sustained eye contact is seen as indicating respect, trust, and openness, whereas in Taiwan, it is often associated with aggression and can be seen as threatening. As such, what is considered acceptable eye contact in one society is seen as deviant in the other. Often, cultural norms such as eye contact are reinforced through practices, customs, and interactions, making it difficult to override the cultural message.
