The internet has allowed video voyeurism to spread significantly more than ever before. This can occur in many forms, such as the sharing of private or compromising photos and videos of people without their knowledge or consent. The internet makes it easier to capture, broadcast, and share these types of images and videos with a much larger audience in a much shorter period of time. In addition, the anonymity of the internet makes it difficult to trace or track the perpetrator or victims. The spread of video voyeurism has also allowed for explicit content and activities to be quickly shared throughout the world. This has had a large impact on victims’ safety and privacy, as the actions of perpetrators can more easily be seen and shared by a wider external audience.
