Medicare Part B (Med Pay) specifically excludes coverage for services and supplies that are not medically necessary. Examples include cosmetic surgery, visits to anything other than a doctor's office, most dental care, eye care, hearing aids, and long-term care. Med Pay also does not cover most medicines, durable medical equipment and supplies, and health care received outside the United States.
