what is answer to equation 3x+1=-5x+65? I came up with x=33, but don't think I did it right.

Yes, you did the equation correctly. To solve for x, you need to isolate it on one side of the equation. Since x is currently on both sides, you can subtract 3x from both sides to get -5x + 65 = 1. From there, you can subtract 65 from both sides to get -5x = -64. Then, you can divide both sides by -5 to get x = 33.
