Human Development Index (HDI):

Answers

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an internationally recognized measure of human development across 189 countries. It is a composite measure of health, education and income indicators, each of which is related to the other and considered essential for a healthy and prosperous life. HDI provides insight into the extent to which countries have reached their development potential and is used to monitor and compare the level and quality of human development over time. The HDI is also helpful in assessing gaps between and within countries in social and economic development, shedding light on the challenges facing and opportunities available to different countries.
