What is absolution?? In detail Please :)

Answers

Absolution is a religious concept most commonly found in the Judeo-Christian tradition. It involves the forgiveness of sins, faults, and errors, as well as being delivered from sin and receiving spiritual cleansing. From a spiritual perspective, it is thought of as a form of cleansing that a person must go through to receive forgiveness from God and ultimately to be allowed entry into heaven at the time of their death. The traditional practice of absolution is seen in some rituals within a religious context such as confession, repentance, and repentance prayer. During confession, the individual acknowledges their wrongdoing to a priest or other qualified person, and the priest then pronounces absolution which symbolically absolves the person of their sins or wrongdoings. In order for a person to receive absolution, they must express true remorse for their actions and make a commitment to try to refrain from that action in the future. This remission of sins is typically accompanied by a penance or religious service intended to aid in absolution of sins. Absolution is meant to be a sign of God’s divine mercy, which allows us to be forgiven for our wrongdoings and live our lives with a sense of peace and newfound purpose. Therefore, absolution is a process of forgiveness, spiritual growth and restoration that should ultimately draw us closer to God and lead us toward a better understanding of moral behavior and belief.
