Herman Daly Propositions (1990)

Answers

Herman Daly proposed the following three propositions in 1990 in his book Beyond Growth: 1. The scale of the economy should be kept within the scale of the biophysical environment, including its regenerative capacity to absorb pollution and provide resources. 2. Economic growth is limited by the finite supply of natural resources. 3. The present generation shouldnt attempt to consume an unfair share of resources, leaving too little for future generations.
