Urban communities are populated places where people live and work. They often consist of densely populated residential, commercial and industrial areas, as well as public infrastructure such as roads and transportation networks. Urban communities typically contain a variety of businesses and services such as shops, offices, restaurants, pubs, theaters, and cultural centers. People living in urban communities have access to services and amenities that rural and suburban areas typically don't possess, such as improved health, social and educational opportunities, and access to public transportation. Generally, urban communities are characterized by high population density and high levels of poverty.
