Geology

Can someone give me a good resource from the usgs.gov site on the Flordia Everglades? I need information about the rocks and volcanic activity within the Everglades. I have the answers to the questions, but I do not understand the site and how to find sources to back it up. It is really beginning to frustrate me, but it does not have a librarian or someone I can ask for guidance. Any help will be appreciated.

The USGS website provides a variety of information and resources for items related to the Florida Everglades. A good starting point for your research is the USGS Florida Water Science Center, found at: https://www.usgs.gov/centers/fl-water-science-center At this website, you can find a variety of articles and reports related to the geology, hydrology, and ecology of the Everglades, including reports specifically related to the topic of rock and volcanic activity. Some of the articles and reports you may want to browse include: • Geologic Framework of the South Florida Regional Aquifer System in South Florida • Exploration of Hidden Volcanic Hazards in the Everglades National Park • Geology and Hydrology of the Greater Everglades • Geological and Hydrological Characterization of the Everglades National Park • Mineral Resources of the Everglades • Geological and Hydrological Mapping of the Kalahari Plain The USGS also provides a library of digital mapping resources for the Florida Everglades, which can be found at: https://www.usgs.gov/products/maps/florida-water-science-center-research-products?qt-product_maps_sciamgy=0#qt-product_maps_sciamgy
