For this assignment, you will be creating a 2-part, 16 measure song in MuseScore. In order to receive all the points for this assignment, your score must contain the following items. Title Composer Info (You) Treble & Bass Clef Grand Staff (Piano) One musical line, or melody, written in the treble clef using a combination of whole, dotted half, half and quarter notes. One musical line, or bass line, written in the bass clef using a combination of whole, dotted half, half and quarter notes. Both your melody and bass line will be written with no key signature and no accidentals. (You really need to think about writing something that sounds musically ‘pleasant’. Starting in the key of C Major or A Minor will help you in this endeavor.). *Use the MIDI playback function in MuseScore to help “compose” the piece. In order to write in C Major, your first and last note in the Bass Clef should be a C, and the first and last note in your treble clef should be a C, E or G. In order to write in A Minor, your first and last note in the Bass Clef should be an A, and the first and last note in your treble clef should be an A, C or E. Song must end with a double barline. You must use slurs where applicable. Your score must include at least one tie in both the melody and the bass that ties at least two notes over a barline.
