Economic Contributor (health)

A health economic contributor is an individual who promotes the economic development of a particular health sector. They are responsible for building and maintaining relationships between and among the different stakeholders within the sector. These stakeholders may include health care providers, public or private investors, health policy makers, research groups, foundations, and NGOs. The aim of a health economic contributor is to ensure that all stakeholders benefit from the investments of each in order to deliver the best possible health outcomes for their community. They may also research and develop innovative models to reduce healthcare costs, maintain economic security in healthcare settings, and ensure access to quality care for all.
