Coefficient of determination (r^2)

The coefficient of determination (r^2) is a measure of how much of the variability in a dataset can be explained by the model. It takes values between 0 and 1, where 0 indicates that the model explains none of the variability and 1 indicates that the model explains all of the variability. It can be used to compare different models and evaluate how well they explain the data.
