Character Reference of Credit Card

A character reference of credit card is an individual (usually a close friend or family member) who can provide a written statement in support of an individual's creditworthiness. The reference is intended to provide a more "personal" perspective on someone's reliability and ability to manage finances. Unlike other forms of credit references, character references offer no guarantees of loan approval or amount.
