One effect of an increasing level of TSH-releasing factor is an increase in the production of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) by the pituitary gland. TSH stimulates the thyroid gland to produce and release products including triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). These hormones regulate the body’s metabolic processes. An increase in TSH can lead to increased heart rate and increased metabolic rate, resulting in increased fat burning and weight loss. It can also lead to increased growth and development in children, as well as an increase in production of red blood cells, which helps to boost energy levels.
