Is predation (predators feeding on prey) the only form of species interaction that represents consumption?

No, predation is not the only form of species interaction that represents consumption. Other forms of species interaction that represent consumption include scavenging (where a dead animal is partly or wholly consumed by a scavenger), parasitism (organisms that feed off of others for nutrients and energy), and herbivory (where animals consume plants for energy).
