Basically, what did the AAA do? Why did the NRA not work very well?

Answers

The AAA (American Automobile Association) was founded in 1902 with the main purpose of promoting auto safety and providing members with roadside assistance. The AAA also offers car insurance and other related services, such as vehicle registration and travel assistance. The NRA (National Rifle Association), by contrast, was founded in 1871 as a lobbying group that works to protect the right of citizens to bear arms and promote gun safety. However, the NRA has not been as successful as the AAA because it has also been embroiled in political battles, which have made it increasingly difficult to advance its primary goals. In addition, the gun control debate has become very contentious and divisive, making it difficult to pass laws that would benefit the NRA’s agenda. Ultimately, much of the NRA’s focus has been diverted from its primary objective to other political debates and causes.
