Algebra-Please check

We're learning arithmetic sequences-please check this for me-it's my first day calcuulating htese and I'm not sure If t(1) = 5 and t(n) = t(n-1) + 2, find the first 4 terms of the sequence I think it would be 5,7,9,11 because the difference is 2 so I just added 2 to each of the previous numbers to get my answer

Yes, that is correct! An arithmetic sequence is a sequence in which the difference between consecutive terms is always the same. In this case, since t(1) = 5 and the common difference is 2, then the sequence would be 5, 7, 9, 11, and so on. Thus, the first 4 terms of the sequence are 5, 7, 9, 11.
