Unusable Financial Statements
Malissa is an accountant. Sometimes printouts of financial statements have errors and are not usable. Malissa doesn't like to waste anything, so she takes the unusable financial statements to her son's day care center to use for drawing paper. Explain why you think this is or is not unethical behavior

. It is not unethical for Malissa to use the unusable financial statements as drawing paper for her son's day care center. As an accountant, Malissa understands that these financial statements are not usable and, instead of throwing them away, she has found a beneficial and appropriate use for them. Furthermore, she hasn’t shared or altered any of the sensitive data, so there is minimal, if any, ethical violation.
