How has Presidential power grown over the last 2 centuries?

Answers

The President is the highest officer in the executive branch of power. According to the American Constitution, the President is a supreme commander of the American military forces; he/she has the power to handle all foreign affairs, recommend legislature to the Congress, control the execution of laws, and sign or veto bills. The President can also alone appoint the Supreme Court justice, appoint ambassadors/ministers/councils, and perform other executive duties; although over the course of centuries presidential functions did not change much, the actual presidential power has significantly increased.
