"Us and Them" annotations

Instructions: Locate 6-9 important passages from the reading. List each quote in order and from different places in the story. Quote accurately and cite using a parenthetical citation. Create your annotations to demonstrate your critical reading skills. Literal meaning – your annotations explain what the writer is saying. Implied or figurative meaning – your annotations explain what the quote means or is implied. Use additional space and rows as needed.
