Sustainable Yield
Cultivation of a crop that doesn't reduce the future supply.

Answers

Sustainable yield is the amount of a crop or other resource that can be harvested without reducing the future supply of the same resource. Sustainable yield farming practices promote the use of sustainable farming methods that help maintain or replenish the supply of a crop or resource while maintaining or improving the quality of the land used to produce the crop or resource. These practices can include avoiding over-cultivation or over-harvesting, regularly rotating crops, conserving water, using sustainable soil amendments, and reducing the use of fertilizers and pesticides. Additionally, sustainable yield farming may also involve utilizing renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, for process operations. These practices can help to ensure the long term availability of a crop or resource, while also helping to reduce the negative environmental impact of farming.

In Russia, because the state owns virtually all of the forest land, they have harvest limits set on the trees to keep sustainable yeild.
