Gregg has made 40% of his free-throw shots, after attempting 20 shots at a free-throw competition. How many more consecutive shots must he make in order to increase his percentage to 50%?

Answers

Gregg must make 10 more shots in a row to increase his free-throw percentage to 50%. He has currently made 8 free-throw shots out of 20, for a percentage of 40%. To increase this to 50%, he must make 18 out of 30 shots, or 10 more consecutive shots.
