I want to make my stamina and speed come to a higher level. How do I go about that?

The first thing is to exercise regularly, i.e. daily. You'll likely never develop really great stamina by working out less than 5 times per week. Rest days are fine, but you should be working out (cardio) at least 5 consecutive days per week if you want to develop good stamina.The second thing is to increase the duration of your workouts. You can't have stamina unless you practice stamina. So start with something you know you can do (e.g. 5km/day or whatever) and make consistent increases on that (say +1km/day each week = 6km/day next week).The third thing is to do interval training. This should happen at least once a week, but most people do it twice weekly. For running, I prefer a pattern of doing intervals at the track on Tuesdays and some sort of Fartlek training on Thursdays.Finally, and this is the most difficult thing, make sure you take it easy on the days you're not doing interval training. It's easy to get carried away and push yourself too hard. In general, you should be working at a good pace, but ideally not above heart rate zone 2 or 3. Save heart rate zones 5 and up for interval days.Good luck!
