How did the Vietnam War influence the social structure and lifestyles from the 1960s counterculture?

Answers

The Vietnam War, with all of its deaths, war crimes, and military spendings, has caused a severe war fatigue within the American society, forming a strong request for peace. One of the consequences of such request was the hippy movement (mostly calling out for peace) and later - punk subculture (which demanded social equality, and called for rioting against the government).
